I have chosen to include the 5-US shares have had a really good dividend growth over 30-50 years. At the same time, these shares had a very stable development and increased their dividend for 2008/2009. Many of these companies have some sort of monopoly in the market because of their well known products and brands. At the same time, these companies more or less unknown to the economy. People will drink Cola, eat at McDonalds and Using Gillette whether financial or not. In other words, companies that Warren Buffett likes.
Many of the companies is a good compliment to the Stockholms Stockmarket. At the same time, we must not forget that it is a bit unrealistic to expect the same dividend growth as before. I would say that a future growth between 7-10%. Moreover, these shares had a low yield history. Many of these companies are becoming more attractive, now that the stock market has gone down quite sharply. I have chosen not to include Bank of America and General Electric because of sharply reduced dividends, because it would not be fair to show the historical growth. At the same time, I am quite unsure how it will develop. But above all, GE, can be a really good investment for the risk you take.
The company that I have taken:
* Coca-Cola
* Procter & Gamble
* McDonalds
* Johnson & Johnson
* Wal-Mart
